Double Consciousness

Double Consciousness” is a body of work I began in 2023, inspired by the writings of W.E.B. Du Bois and introduced to me through the artist Sekai Machache. I was drawn to the idea of a dual self existing simultaneously, and I began working with motifs of duality that continue to shape my practice.
